Job Title: Warehouse/Facility Custodian
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

We are currently hiring a Custodian / General Labourer to support the daily upkeep of a warehouse facility in Kingston, Ontario. This role focuses primarily on janitorial and facility cleanliness, while also assisting with occasional light maintenance and general upkeep tasks as needed.

The successful candidate will help ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and safe for daily operations, working closely with the Building Superintendent and warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain common areas such as entrances, walkways, washrooms, and break areas
• Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the facility
• Assist with keeping workspaces, storage areas, and equipment areas organized and tidy
• Support general facility upkeep and housekeeping tasks as required
• Perform occasional light upkeep tasks such as touch-up painting or simple repairs using basic tools
• Assist with basic outdoor upkeep around the building when required (snow clearing, tidying outdoor areas, etc.)
• Follow instructions and assist the Building Superintendent with additional facility-related tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, cleaning, or general labour roles is considered an asset
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
• Basic comfort using hand tools for small fixes or upkeep tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Work Conditions:

• Work takes place in a warehouse facility environment
• Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
• Combination of indoor work and occasional outdoor tasks depending on facility needs
