The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) department of the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland is seeking applications to fill one permanent Network Administrator IV position. The ICT Department is responsible for providing information technology and information management support and protection, including classroom technologies and communication services, to approximately 400 faculty and staff and 1,200 students at the Marine Institute.

DUTIES
The System Administrator IV is a senior position reporting to the manager of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Department of the Marine Institute and will play a lead role in the support, development and delivery of Microsoft 365 (M365) services, including engaging with the MI community to support M365 products for operational use; supporting SharePoint sites and workflows (on-premises and cloud); managing the M365 environment including security certificates; AADConnect; AD Security Groups and identity data. Collaboration in pan-university projects, performing needs/gap analysis and formulating solutions based on client requirements, ensuring proper testing and procedures are followed to facilitate a high level of availability to users.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (5-7 years) in a systems administration role, preferably Microsoft Windows Server, AD management, SharePoint and Microsoft 365; graduation from a four-year college or university with major course work in Computer Science; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills; works well as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; has strong attention to detail; demonstrated experience and proficiency in document control and change management procedures.
SALARY $68,148 – 75,583 per annum (NAPE Local 7850)
