JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time

SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

The instructional designer supports the organization in the educational integration of digital technologies. They analyze training needs, design innovative learning solutions and support the implementation of technological tools to enhance the educational experience and success of learners. They play a key role in digital transformation by proposing appropriate teaching strategies, providing training and ensuring ongoing support for users.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or university training in computer technology with specialization in:
    • Multimedia
    • Software testing
    • Programming and applications
  • Three to five years' experience in multimedia development related to training;
  • Good knowledge of educational design;
  • Ability to communicate and to facilitate training sessions;
  • Ability to act as a consultant to training advisors and other users;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively;
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Basic knowledge of learning management systems;
  • Knowledge of databases;
  • Ability to use multimedia object editing software;
  • Proficiency with interactive course authoring software;
  • Written and spoken proficiency in both official languages;
  • Ability to travel occasionally for work;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
