About the Role
As Production Manager, you will report to the Plant Manager and oversee day-to-day and long-term production operations at our Triton facility. You'll lead by example, driving efficiency, safety, and quality across all production areas while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish daily, monthly, and annual production targets, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate teams to ensure production goals are achieved.
- Promote a proactive safety-first culture focused on hazard recognition and prevention.
- Analyze production data to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Uphold product quality by applying and reinforcing organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role (fishing or food processing industry preferred).
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Management experience in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
