Pay Rate
- Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.4161
- Plus: Shift premiums for evenings and weekends
- Good News: Wages are expected to increase within the year-with retroactive pay

What You'll Do
As an LPN, you'll provide compassionate, resident-focused care while supporting the nursing team and mentoring staff. Your responsibilities include:
- Supervising and guiding Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) and Long Term Care Assistants (LTCAs)
- Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual care to residents
- Administering medications, injections, venipuncture, and treatments per physician orders
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assisting in staffing, scheduling, and orientation of new staff
- Participating in care planning, assessment, and ongoing review of resident needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Providing outreach services to affiliated facilities as assigned
- Responding to emergencies with sound clinical judgment and critical thinking
What We're Looking For
- Current license with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia (CLPNNS)
- Ability to practice full scope of LPN duties
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and delegate appropriately
- Compassionate, conscientious, and resident-focused
- Skilled in critical thinking, clinical judgment, and emergency response
