Pay Rate
- Probation Rate (720 hours): $18.47 per hour
- Regular Rate: $18.77 per hour
- Good News: Wages are expected to increase within the year-with retroactive pay

What You'll Do
As a Dietary Aide, you'll help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals in a friendly and home-like setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and preparing meal trays for residents
- Assisting with special diet preparation and portioning
- Delivering and retrieving food carts to and from dining areas
- Clearing trays and tables and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Operating dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely
- Preparing vegetables, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and nourishments
- Stocking supplies, recording temperatures, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Supporting the Food Services team with other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma (Grade 12)
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to complete)
- Reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg
- Criminal Record Check required
- Previous food service or healthcare experience is an asset
- Interest in working with older adults is a plus
Work Schedule
Potential shifts include:
- Early: 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM
- Late: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Short: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
(Flexibility for weekends and holidays required)
