Internship Placement for Fall 2025 Term

Number of placements: 1

Salary: $17.50/hour

Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)

Placement Duration: September – December 2025

Department: Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labor (PETL)

Placement Description: The student will provide support across various programs and assist consultants with day-to-day activities. Responsibilities may include reviewing and editing documents, translating materials, updating internal websites and procedures, and supporting contract and project management. The student will also contribute to the development of training tools related to job counseling, respond to data service requests, assist with marketing initiatives, help administer the SEED program, and support the preparation of ministerial correspondence.

This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.

Need to have:

• Language requirement: French
• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in the field of social sciences, education, psychology, social work, business administration or related field.

Nice to have: A student with skills in IT, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to work in a team and with various stakeholders. This student must also have an organizational sense and time management skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time, autonomy and initiative, attention to detail, and a sense of discretion/confidentiality.
