Internship Placement for Fall 2025 Term

Salary: $17.50/hour

Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)

Placement Duration: September – December 2025

Department: Department of Health (DH)

Placement Description: Students in this role will receive training in change management and work under the guidance of experienced change management specialists to support priority projects. Key responsibilities include helping to develop change management plans, creating communication strategies and key messages for different stakeholder groups, collecting data on change adoption, and analyzing and reporting on the progress of change management activities. Students will work closely with a Lean Six Sigma practitioner and a project portfolio lead, contributing to a variety of assigned projects. In addition to hands-on experience, students will receive further trainings and have the opportunity to learn from project managers on the team.

This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.

Need to have:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Enrolled in a post-secondary program

Nice to have: The ideal students should have strong planning, facilitation, communication, data analysis, and organizational skills, along with the ability to present information clearly. Experience and certification in change management or project coordination is considered an asset.
