Internship Placement for Fall 2025 Term

Salary: $17.50/hour

Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)

Placement Duration: September – December 2025

Department: Department of Health (DH)

Placement Description: The selected student will support data maintenance in the Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) (Salesforce) by assisting with accurate data entry, profile updates, and document uploads within the Internationally Educated Health Professional (IEHP) candidate database. They will also help log communications and organize candidate cohorts to track progress. Additionally, the student will support eligibility verification by reviewing submitted documents and updating records to ensure timely referrals and consistent candidate engagement. This hands-on involvement will enhance data accuracy and contribute to streamlined coordination across the IEHP Navigation Service.

This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.

Need to have:

• Language requirement: Bilingual
• Enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., Health or Business Administration, Information Management, Social Sciences, etc.)
• Proficient using Microsoft Office

Nice to have: The ideal student should be comfortable with data entry and management, with experience in CRM (Salesforce) considered as an asset. They should have strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Professionalism, confidentiality, and an interest in healthcare and newcomer support are also important.
