SummaryIn order to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the processes surrounding the commercial operations of our 17 French-language television stations, Bell media is looking for a Traffic manager. This person assumes a key supervisory and development role within a team whose primary mandate is the daily delivery of broadcast logs.

Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coach a team of non-management unionized employees (recruitment, training, performance evaluations);
- Maximize revenues through optimal commercial inventory management in collaboration with our national sales force;
- Coordinate activities related to the creatives reception and approval as well as the application of broadcast instructions;
- Plan the reconciliations of broadcast logs;
- Ensure compliance with laws, standards and parameters of the broadcasting of advertising;
- Ensure smooth running of operations and compliance with deadlines;
- Define and develop work processes;
- Contribute to systems and software development as well as improvement projects;
- Act as a resource person for internal and external stakeholders;
- Assess feasibility of special projects;
- Provide reports and analysis.
- College or university degree in administration, media technology, human resources or any other relevant field
- 2 to 3 years' experience in traffic, media or any other relevant field
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a leadership role with staff supervision
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
- Demonstrate strong leadership and be a positive change agent
- Good interpersonal relations skills
- Proactive and result oriented
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and deal with tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- IBMS software knowledge (an important asset)
- Good knowledge of Office suite and M365
