Your Contribution
Englobe, Canadian leader in Soils, Materials and Environment, i s looking for a Team lead for our Compost Facility located in Greater Toronto Area. Under the authority of the Regional manager, you will be responsible for the planning and operational management of your site.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for the site (cleanliness, safety (barriers, etc.), signage, communication with community, subcontractor, and customers).
- Supervise the employees.
- Ensure the implementation, application, and compliance of OHS standards and the follow-up of updates.
- Coordinate the work of reception, and installation of material (buffer zone).
- Coordinate the maintenance of Engobe's machinery.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of material on the site and capacity available
- Responsible for carrying out the work within budget
- Responsible for the coding of payable invoices
- Responsible for coordinating arrivals at the sites with the various stakeholders of Englobe and customers
- Plan the need for manpower
- Participate in the development of the budget and its follow-up (production cost, profitability, etc.)
- Ensure compliance of all client contracts and properly analyse their needs
- Be the direct link with the client
- Participate in management meetings of the Ontario Regional Management team
- Maintain a good relationship with our clients
- Any other task(s) deemed relevant by the immediate supervisor
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
Your Profile
- Technical or university training in a field related to the environment
- Minimum of 5 years experience in operation management
- Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in production optimization and site rehabilitation (asset)
- Experience in administration and management
- Experience in geotechnics, civil engineering, and environment (an asset)
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- Available for travel to other sites
- Bilingualism (an asset)
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
