Your Contribution
As a Site inspection technician, you will work in collaboration with the Building science team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Perform condition assessment inspections or survey for roofs;
- Verify roof installation work in accordance with the drawings and specifications as well as the codes and standards;
- Process and compile inspection reports;
- Assist in conducting invasive building inspections and testing (ex. Roof cut tests, water / leak tests, etc.);
- Attend site meetings with roofing contractor, client and Architect;
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Your Profile
- College Studies in architecture or in a relevant field ;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in roofing inspection/ installation;
- Relevant experience in roof waterproofing;
- Comfortable to work at height and using tools to access at elevated building elements;
- A valid driver's license with own vehicle and travel throughout Ontario is required;
- Ability to perform cut tests on the roof composition will be considered as an asset;
- Demonstrate sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
