Your Contribution
As an Environmental Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Environment team.
Your main responsibilities will be co-ordinate and complete assigned activities with respect to the implementation and management of environmental projects including but not limited to
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
  • Perform Phased Environmental Site Assessments, including historical research, site inspections and soil and groundwater sampling programs;
  • Preparation of field notes, data analysis and evaluation;
  • Participate in technical report and proposal writing; and,
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.

Your Profile
  • College diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or an environmental related field.
  • 2 year experience as an environmental consultant in environmental drilling and test pitting, collection of soil and groundwater samples .
  • Understanding of and/or ability to learn technical laboratory and field-testing procedures required.
  • Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to complex topics and concepts, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently problem-solve, tackle new assignments and multi-task in a busy work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform detailed analysis in various software programs.
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for health and safety.
  • Attention to detail is a must for this positon.
