Do you love exceptional customer service and the magic of Shambhala?

We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Supervisor to join our growing team! In this pivotal role, you'll play a key part in ensuring a seamless customer experience across all channels, from social media to on-site festival support.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure timely responses to all customer inquiries (email, social media, phone)
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer service culture, setting and achieving satisfaction goals
  • Manage a team of volunteers during the festival, providing training and supervision
  • Develop and implement a cohesive communication strategy across all platforms (email, social media, etc.)
  • Analyze customer service statistics and create insightful reports
  • Act as the dedicated point of contact during the festival, providing 24/7 support (including emergency situations)
  • Champion the Shambhala spirit – fostering a welcoming and friendly environment

What you bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience overseeing customer relations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of customer service best practices
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with productivity software (G Suite, MS Office)
  • A passion for music festivals (a plus!)

The Contract:

This position starts as part-time in April (approx. 10 hours/week), transitioning to full-time for June, July, and August, with on-site work in Salmo being required during July (up to 12-hour shifts and potentially over 40 hours per week, during showtime). Be prepared to live and camp outdoors in variable weather conditions.

Wage: $21.00
