Our client is the leading Restoration Company in the Fraser Valley. Our client provides emergency response, restoration and reconstruction services to the insurance industry, residential and commercial customers. They provide a wide range of services that remediate conditions caused by fire, flood, wind, mold, and other hazards.
Overview:The Business Development Manager will drive business development and related marketing activities within the business. Your ultimate goal is to grow the business by building successful, long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for making regular connections with existing clients and prospects in an effort to build strong, long-term business relationships. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be client service oriented.
What you will be doing:
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long term success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key client needs and liaise with internal operations to align business functions to meet those needs
  • Act as the point of contact and handle client's individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential client networks
  • Expand the relationships with existing clients by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by clients and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Report on status of accounts and job referrals
  • Set and track account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Suggest actions to improve internal business efficiency and profitability
Things you need to have:
  • 5+ year's work experience in business development and marketing
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent client experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to deliver solutions and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with problem solving attitude
  • Sales/Marketing diploma or certificate an asset
