  • Develop, negotiate, and oversee project scopes, deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets across all project phases.

  • Prepare detailed work plans, allocate project resources and hours, and monitor progress against established timelines and financial targets.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of project scope and manage changes effectively to ensure contractual obligations and client expectations are met.

  • Coordinate with contractors, subconsultants, and relevant authorities to resolve constructability challenges, technical issues, and client concerns.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while acting as the central liaison between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, monitor performance, forecast revenue, and manage project financials to support successful delivery.

  • Oversee project execution from design and documentation through construction administration and final completion.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of professional experience within an architecture or architectural design firm, including at least 2 years working on healthcare projects.

  • Demonstrated project management experience, ideally involving hospitals, clinics, medical facilities, or other healthcare environments.

  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, staffing resources, and financial performance.

  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of applicable Ontario Building Code requirements, healthcare regulations, accessibility standards, and municipal bylaws.

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

  • Professional registration with a relevant association is an asset; licensure as an Architect in Ontario is preferred.
