Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external maintenance activities for fleet and diesel assets, ensure equipment is maintained in a safe, reliable and cost-conscious manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for assigned fleet assets, supporting deployment and fleet operations.
- Work collaboratively with the Fleet Team Lead, Fleet Manager, Planning Department and other partners to support annual maintenance planning, scheduling and day to day fleet deployment and operation.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to maintenance team members, including assigning work, supporting training needs and fostering a respectful, inclusive and safety-focused workplace.
- Support effective maintenance decisions by reviewing asset condition, inspections, service failures, repair needs and replacement considerations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support administrative processes, including approvals, invoices, timesheets, travel claims, materials and tools.
- Communicate clearly with team members, contractors and leaders by providing timely updates, reports and recommendations on maintenance activities and emerging issues.
- Promote and support compliance with applicable legislation, collective agreement provisions, corporate policies, safety requirements and environmental management responsibilities.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to plan, lead, organize, and control.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of regulations governing booms and aerial device inspection and maintenance.
- Must possess a good working knowledge of computers with appropriate awareness of various corporate applications as necessary. These may include, but are not limited to, the Microsoft suite of applications, JD Edwards, Showcase Strategy, computerized inventory, and maintenance programs.
What You'll Need:
- High School graduation and graduation from an appropriate three (3) year technology course or the attainment of an appropriate journeyperson status, supplemented by applicable courses in utility equipment maintenance.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education from a recognized post-secondary institution may also be considered.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in utility equipment maintenance.
- Must possess an appropriate valid driver's license, and be willing to travel
