Job Title :Warehouse Shipper/Receiver
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shift/Hours:Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:$19.00/hr.

We're building our talent pool for an upcoming opportunity with a client located in Scarborough. Our customer is a leading wholesaler and distributor of plumbing and heating products, known for providing quality products, excellent customer service, and industry expertise throughout the GTA. We're looking for a reliable Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join their busy team when the opportunity becomes available.

Job Duties:

• Receive, pick, pack, label, and ship products to customers.
• Memorize and keep track of product locations.
• Operate industrial-powered equipment (forklift, pump trucks, etc).
• Restock and replenish bins as necessary.
• Accurately prepare pallet loads and provide quality control of the products.
• Maintain the work area cleanliness, organization and safety of the warehouse.
• Check the goods for quality in the shipping & receiving areas.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies & procedures.
• Fill in other positions if needed.
• Complete all administrative tasks for the department.

Job Requirements:

• Able to lift packages up to 40lbs to 50lbs.
• Able to lift/carry/move or arrange boxes while standing, stooping, or kneeling. The product can vary in size from pipes, toilets, bathtubs, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills, and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
• Continuous learning
• Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Forklift experience & certificate to operate counterbalance and reach certificate an asset but not required. The company will train if needed.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
