Business Analyst, Customer Technology Solutions

Work Location: 6080 Young Street, Halifax, NS (On-site, 5 days per week)

Department: Customer Technology Solutions

Reports To: Manager, IT Projects

Employment Status: Full time, 40 hours per week

In this role, you'll support the delivery of technology initiatives that enhance how we support and serve our customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors, you'll help define requirements, improve processes, and deliver solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Business Analyst, your work will include:

Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.

Mapping and improving business processes and workflows.

Collaborating with key partners, project teams, and vendors to support technology initiatives.

Supporting Agile delivery teams through requirements refinement, planning, and solution design.

Developing test scenarios and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).

Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and user experience.

Supporting solution implementation, adoption, and ongoing continuous improvement.

You’ll Also Bring

A post-secondary degree in Commerce, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Five or more years of experience in business analysis, project delivery, process improvement, or a related role.

Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio.

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira is considered an asset.

Knowledge of CRM platforms, customer-facing applications, or telecommunications technologies is considered an asset.

Experience with software testing and user acceptance testing is considered an asset.
