The Opportunity

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Type of Employment: Temporary, Full-Time (September - December 2026)

Are you ready to apply your knowledge in the real world? We are hiring a, Co-op for the Fall Term with our Capital Planning, Enterprise Asset Management team.

The Co-op General role supports the Capital Planning team by assisting with core capital project activities related to the annual capital budget and the regulatory capital requirements. The role provides hands-on exposure to capital processes, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to project governance and capital program.


Key elements of this role include:

Capital Project Governance

  • Assist with final costing of capital projects.
  • Assist with maintaining project financial governance.

Capital Budget and Capital Filings

  • Assist with the preparation of documents for NSEB filings.
  • Assist with the preparation of the 2027 Annual Capital Expenditure Plan.

Analysis & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain process documentation.
  • Perform analytical support for ad-hoc inquiries from capital analysts and capital leads.

These skills will make you successful:

Education & Experience

  • Currently working toward a Business degree.
  • Completion of the first two years of the degree program.
  • Enrolled in a co-op program.

Technical/Job Specific Knowledge and Abilities

  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated decision-making capability.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
