Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Stoney Creek, ON.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Rate of Pay: $24.00/hour

Job Type: Temporary (Seasonal ~4-5 months)

Looking for a full-time role? Join a global leader in environmental services that specializes in the supply, recovery, recycling, and lifecycle management of refrigerants and specialty gases.

We're seeking a motivated General Labourer who is eager to learn and enjoys hands-on work. This position offers full training and opportunities to develop new skills within a growing organization.

Job Duties:

  • Complete data entry and administrative tasks related to inventory, cylinder tracking, shipping, receiving, and operational records during the initial training period.
  • Load, unload, sort, and move refrigerant cylinders and materials throughout the facility.
  • Inspect cylinders for damage, proper labeling, and compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare cylinders by cleaning, staging, organizing, and getting them ready for processing or shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks.
  • Support warehouse and production teams with general labour duties and equipment setup.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures, including the safe handling of compressed gas cylinders and hazardous materials.
  • Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents promptly.
  • Assist with general facility maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Success:

  • Previous long-term manufacturing or industrial experience required.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and ready to learn.
  • Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Able to wear required PPE, including safety boots, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
  • Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search.

Assets (Not Required)

  • Forklift certification, or a willingness to obtain certification.
