As Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our operations, working with our production and maintenance staff to keep our machinery and equipment in optimal working condition along with the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting, repair, replacement and sourcing of components

• Equipment Monitoring: Regularly inspect and monitor the condition of machinery, diagnosing issues, and addressing them promptly to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities including parts used, and equipment status

• Safety: Promote a culture of safety, adhering to all food and safety regulations

• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and support production personnel in achieving operational goals

• Facilities Maintenance: Ensuring buildings and property are clean, maintained, manicured and kept accessible and safe in winter

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification an asset

• Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Familiarity with pressure and steam systems

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations

• Ability to work flexible schedules, starting ovens, completing boiler checks and able to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies
