Sanitation Clerk

Job Title: Sanitation Worker
Location: Oxford, Nova Scotia
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $19.51 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation and cleaning duties throughout the facility to maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and work areas
• Always follow company safety policies and sanitation procedures
• Work efficiently to meet strict cleaning timelines during production or shutdown periods
• Support team members to ensure a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

• Ability to work under strict timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortably working as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
• All jewelry must be removed before entering the production area
• Steel-toe safety boots are required

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation, cleaning, or housekeeping experience is considered an asset
• Reliable transportation to Oxford, NS
• Ability to lift at least up to 50 lbs when required
• Comfortable working in hot and cold environments, depending on department
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (day and night)
