Job Title: Heavy Duty Shop Technician / Parts Installer

Rate of Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 /hour (based on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm

Location: St. Catharines, ON

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a Shop Technician/Heavy Duty Parts Installer for a client in St. Catharines that manufactures high-quality trucks and trucking equipment. Successful applicants will have 2+ years of experience assembling or installing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and install truck components (e.g., weight calibration, pneumatic and electrical systems).
• Build and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems for dump trucks and other trucking equipment.
• Perform quality inspections on equipment before/after installation.
• Follow safety guidelines set out in the facility.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Actively participate in department meetings.
• Undergo general training programs.
• Lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1.5-2 years of manufacturing (automotive preferred) or technician experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Welding experience (preferred).
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.
• CSA Safety Shoes.
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search.
