Your main responsibilities
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
- Prepare concept, detailed, and tender-ready designs for civil infrastructure projects
- Develop designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including developing corridors, site grading, and design surfaces
- Produce quantity takeoffs and support cost estimating
- Perform constructability reviews and identify design improvements
- Analyze project data and prepare technical reports
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements
- Ensure designs align with applicable standards, specifications, and guidelines
- Participate in client and project meetings
- Support project delivery within established budgets and timelines
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
What makes you unique
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- Professional designation or eligibility with APEGNB or certification with NBSCETT
- Minimum 5 years of relevant civil design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in municipal servicing and site development projects
- Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and design practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices
- Experience with site inspections, hydraulic design, or modelling is an asset
