Qualifications:
? Graduation from high school or equivalency
? Successful completion of a recognized Personal Care Program or equivalent
? Knowledge of computer skills and an ability to work with Meditech is an asset:
? Current certification in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
? Completion of Gentle Persuasive Approach Course (GPA) or willingness to complete
? Completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior Course (MOAB) or willingness to complete
? Breastfeeding education or willingness to complete within specified time frame.
? The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.


Duties: (Included but not limited to)
? Providing nursing care to patients
? Responds to emergency and situation and codes
? Assist with the orientation of new staff
? Documents according to organizational policies and unit guidelines
? Participates in quality assurance/improvement activities
? Transports clients and specimens
? Other related duties as required
