We are currently hiring for one (1) Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP). This is a regular opportunity, in the People & Culture department.
As a HRBP, you will:
- Act as a trusted strategic partner to all business leaders and provide expertise
- Support in a broad range of human resources functions including employee relations, labour relations, talent management, coaching, performance management, corporate policy development and workforce planning to ensure consistency in application.
- Be responsible for providing advice and coaching to leadership, supervisory and management levels, building and maintaining strong relationships with all employees, and communicating and delivering various people focused programs and initiatives to the business.
- Play a significant role in the development and implementation of strategic People & Culture plans and the provision of HR support to meet organizational goals.
To do this job, you need to have:
- a university degree in a related field
- ideally hold a CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation or be willing to obtain.
- over 3-5 years of broad related HR generalist experience, with previous experience in a unionized environment considered an asset
