(Full-time, 1-Year Contractual Position)

DUTIESReporting to the Manager, Office of Professional and Educational Development (OPED) and supporting the Director of the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education (CCHPE), the successful applicant will provide strategic direction and leadership for Memorial's interprofessional education (IPE) curriculum. Curriculum responsibilities include managing the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement of Memorial's IPE curriculum, including delivery in a distributed/distant learning environment provincially, and to the Prince Edward Island campus. Duties include liaising with the Deans and Associate Deans of Memorial's academic units that participate in IPE; chairing the IPE curriculum development teams; recruiting and training facilitators of interprofessional education; liaising with faculty and students participating in IPE; overseeing and participating in program evaluation and student assessment; developing curricular modifications based on evolving best practices in the literature, feedback from participants and assessment results; writing grants collaboratively with faculty and dissemination activities; financial administration of the Centre; providing program advice and support to students as needed; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONSExperience (3-5 years) working in collaborative health professional curriculum development and evaluation, preferably within interprofessional education; completion of a Master's Degree in Education or related field; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. A foundation in post-secondary and adult learning; experience with delivering education in a distributed/distant learning environment; strong project management and budgeting skills; demonstrated superior interpersonal and leadership skills; and strong oral and written communication skills are required. Familiarity with Memorial University's interprofessional education program, collaborative care health professional teams, and the Faculty of Medicine would be considered a significant asset.
SALARY $67,414 - $91,929 per annum (Management and Professional)
