The Opportunity?

We believe that our success depends upon having the right people in the right jobs with the ability to work well together. We are currently accepting applications for an IT Manager. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing Country Ribbon's IT operations, infrastructure and technology solutions. This role is tasked with managing the IT team, implementing IT policies and procedures and ensuring the smooth and secure functioning of technology systems to meet strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities?

Key expectations for this role will include:

• Manage and oversee all IT related systems, operations, and services necessary to ensure optimal performance of company infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions
• Lead the IT team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship
• Oversee IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, to ensure timely and successful completion
• Implement security measures, conduct audits, and mitigate risks to protect data and systems
• Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to support the organization's goals and objectives
• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
• Develop and implement strategies for data backup and disaster recovery to minimize potential disruptions.
• Provide training to employees on new technologies and offer IT support to ensure efficient operations.

Is role right for you?

If you have strong analytical skills and thrive on having a hands on approach to navigating complex situations to find effective solutions this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. You will have post-secondary education in computer science, information technology, or another relevant field. This will be combined with a minimum of 7 years' experience in IT, with 4+ years in a leadership role. A strong knowledge of cyber security best practices, ITSM frameworks, Microsoft 365, Comp TIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications are essential for success. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be a definite asset.
