Eastlink is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Compliance Manager to lead our organization’s compliance efforts. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building and maintaining robust cybersecurity compliance programs. You’ll play a key role in shaping our compliance strategy, collaborating across departments, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate Eastlink’s Cybersecurity compliance program, roadmap, and objectives.
- Analyze applicable compliance frameworks and the identify internal control requirements necessary to meet compliance objectives.
- Identify key departments and teams involved in or impacted by meeting compliance objectives and develop relationships with them.
- Work with departments and teams to assist with identifying existing control activities and determine their present state of maturity.
- Work with departments and teams to assist with the definition and management of the plans, projects and tasks required to reach required level of internal control maturity.
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and review of the standards, procedures and supporting documents required to achieve the required internal control maturity.
- Lead the development, implementation and review of security and compliance training platforms, programs, and content.
- Facilitate documentation and evidence collection as required by internal and external auditors to meet compliance objectives.
- Administer governance, risk, and compliance software.
- Contribute to automation, orchestration, and integration of compliance-related systems.
- Track and report on progress toward meeting compliance objectives.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, AICPA SOC 2, ISO 27000, CIS CSC, SCF
- Foundational knowledge of Information Security and Information and Communication Technologies
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, comfortable with engaging and conveying complex ideas at the required level of detail to all levels of the organization.
- Excellent writing skills with experience developing readable policies, standards and procedures.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Highly motivated with the appetite and capacity for continuous and self-directed learning
- Although this is a management position, the Cybersecurity Compliance Team currently consists of two individuals (including the manager). The successful candidate will be expected to be both manager and primary contributor.
