Role Overview
We are forming an Emera Business Transformation Team to lead the successful implementation of a brand-new Oracle Fusion solution. This is your chance to join a dynamic group of professionals and focus on the people side of change that this ERP project requires. We are currently looking to hire a Change Manager on a term contract, for a minimum of twelve (12) months with the opportunity to be extended into a permanent position.
When you join our Business Transformation team, you will be responsible for leading employee awareness, implementing change management strategies and creating plans that minimize employee resistance to change.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading the full-cycle development, planning, execution, and sustainment of change management initiatives.
- Facilitating workshops and engaging teams in developing change tactics.
- Assessing leadership needs and implementing engagement, training, and communication strategies.
- Coaching and training leaders on change fundamentals, methodologies and tools.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and competing project requirements and priorities from a change standpoint.
- Identifying and mitigating risks and interdependencies using PMO processes.
- Conducting change management assessments and address improvement areas.
- Overseeing internal ERP project communications to ensure consistent messaging.

- You can lead and execute both the training and the communications strategies for a variety of stakeholders.
- You are a team player who can quickly build relationships and have a proven track record of being a strong communicator, collaborator, coach and advisor.
- You have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Launching your potential
The following experience will help you succeed in this role:
- You have a university degree in Business, HR, Communications or equivalent.
- You bring experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- You are experienced in following project life cycles, understand project management fundamentals and know the importance of well executed change management.
Helpful, though not a prerequisite
The following experience is considered a valuable addition, though not a firm requirement:
- Change management certification or designation is an asset.
