Who are we?
From our origins as a single electric utility in Nova Scotia, Emera has grown into an energy leader with more than $33-billion in assets and approximately 2.5 million utility customers in Canada, the US and the Caribbean.

Our strategic focus has been consistent for nearly 15 years to safely deliver cleaner, affordable and reliable energy to our customers. Our environmental priorities are fundamental to our strategy as they drive us to use less coal and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
