MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking a Intermediate Municipal Engineer to join our team in our Calgary office.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of six years' experience and will play a key role in the design and implementation of Municipal Infrastructure projects.

Your Contribution
Your main responsibilities
- Project Engineer on municipal infrastructure assignments;
- Perform preliminary and detailed design, construction observation and contract administration;
- Develop and authenticate drawings and specifications;
- Manage infrastructure assessments, studies and reports with an emphasis on clear, concise technical language;
- Participate in client meetings in an active and collaborative manner, to resolve any outstanding design considerations or infrastructure challenges;
- Administer construction contracts and support the project team through construction and commissioning;
- Review of the work of engineers-in-training and demonstrate the ability to delegate work as necessary.
Your Profile
What makes you unique
- Sc. in Civil Engineering;
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng. seal from APEGA or equivalent);
- 6 years of experince municipal projects;
- Working knowledge of water distribution, sanitary collection and drainage systems;
- Computer software knowledge in modelling and spreadsheet analysis;
- Show an aptitude for general construction methods;
- Business skills and knowledge;
- Able to work and participate in a team atmosphere;
- Self-motivated with leadership ability;
- Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
