MFC Training is currently looking for an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to join our team in London, Ontario!

The Assistant Chief Flight Instructor assists the Chief Flight Instructor with operational control and regulatory oversight.

Our Operations :

  • MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance, and heavy maintenance checks;
  • MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of various training aircraft; and
  • Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of aircraft maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and supervision for staff and students.
  • Ensure on-time completion of student ground-school and flight training.
  • Supervise the Chief Dispatcher and Student Learning and Training Manager.
  • Engage and support the Safety Management System (SMS) program including report submissions, investigations, and implementing corrective actions
  • Monitor Flight and Ground School Instructors, including the planning and management of shifts, work conditions, performance, disciplinary actions, etc
  • Oversee approval of ADP timecards, vacation, leave, etc
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Provide direction and supervision for staff and students
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Class 2 Instructor Rating
  • Possession of a valid Canadian Commercial Pilot License
  • Qualifications as outlined in the Canadian Aviation Regulations and the Personnel Licensing and training standards
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
