MFC Training is currently looking for M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team in London, Ontario!
Our Operations :
- MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance, and heavy maintenance checks;
- MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of various training aircraft; and
- Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of aircraft maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components including heavy maintenance
- Report on issues affecting the service ability of aircraft
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with MFC and Transport Canada Regulations
- Co-ordinate parts requirements and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish maintenance and inspection functions
- Administration and direction of safety practices and procedures
- Complete work sheets for work completed
- Report unserviceable maintenance equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Apprentices must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS
- M1 license is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as AME is considered an asset
- Experience on light piston aircraft is considered an asset
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
