MFC Training is currently looking for Casual Call-In and Full Time Flight Instructors to join our team in London, Ontario!

Our Operations:

  • MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance, and heavy maintenance checks;
  • MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of various training aircraft; and
  • Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of aircraft maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train students in accordance with the Training Manual (TM), Flight Training Operational Manual (FTOM), and Transport Canada's Flight Instructor Guide
  • Assist with Operational Control as per company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FTOM and TM
  • Record training times activities (briefings, flights, ground schools, instrument time, cross country times, etc.) for training records
  • Provide adequate supervision and constructive feedback to students assigned
  • Participate in MFC's safety and quality programs
  • Ensure all licenses and required medical are current
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a valid Commercial, or higher, Pilot License for the category and, as appropriate, the class and type of aircraft in which the flight training is conducted
  • Hold a Class 1,2,3 or 4 Instructor Rating with any endorsements applicable to the type of flight training provided
  • Know and understand the applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations necessary for the proper and safe performance of their duties
  • Flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
