Payrate: | $18.94/hour

Overtime Method: | Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Full-Time - Rotational - 2000-0800 (Please see example below:)

• Week 1 - 2000-0800 - 4 Days (Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat)
• Week 2 - 2000-0800 - 3 Days (Sun, Wed-Thurs)
• Note: The schedule remains the same month-to-month

Working as a Security Guard in a Healthcare environment, you will be responsible for completing investigations, and incident reports. You will be expected to perform consistent patrols, interact with the public to provide good customer service, keep the clients and visitors safe, and build rapport with patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
• Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccination
• A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, pertussis, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
• • Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.

• Must have valid G License
• Must be able to commute to Kingston for pre-deployment training
• Must have a reliable working vehicle in good repair
• Must be able to site train at all 4 QHC facilities (Belleville, Trenton, Picton, and Bancroft)
• Must be or be able to be clean shaven to pass N95 Mask Fit Test
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Must be able to work alone
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
• • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
  • Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
