About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Evaluation and Performance, you will be responsible for:
- Functioning within a consulting capacity to undertake priority, strategically focused evaluation activities that inform the decision-making needs of all zones within the NL Health Services and provincial government.
- Leading the planning and implementation of large-scale evaluation of provincial legislation, policies, programs and services, pilot projects and electronic health solutions within the province?s health system.
Designing evaluation plans and frameworks. - Providing methods and tools for evaluation and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Implementing and monitoring evaluation activities.
- Identifying mitigating strategies, where needed, to ensure deliverables are completed as planned.
- Consulting to advise provincial and regional representatives on policy, program, and service issues.
- Presenting evaluation findings and recommendations to health system officials.
About You
Your education and experience include:
- Master?s degree in Applied Social Psychology, Health Services research, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant evaluation experience.
- Relevant experience would include but is not limited to:
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders within the health system.
- Experience with developing and implementing large scale evaluation projects.
- Experience preparing comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement would be considered as asset.
You have the following skills and abilities:
- Experience in application of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, techniques and analysis is essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good judgment and an ability to build consensus among groups with differing priorities.
- Ability to apply critical thinking throughout the evaluation process.
- Ability to function in high pressure, diverse, and changing environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
