Job Title: Construction Flagger

Location: Mississauga, ON

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21.23/hr

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Construction Flagger to join our team. The Flagger will direct traffic safely through construction zones, maintain a secure environment for workers and the public, and ensure that traffic control plans are properly followed. This is a vital role in maintaining job site safety and efficiency.

Job Duties:

• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely through and around construction sites
• Set up, maintain, and remove signs, cones, and other traffic control devices
• Communicate effectively with team members via radio or hand signals
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control measures as needed
• Provide clear instructions to drivers and pedestrians to prevent accidents
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Flagger Certification (e.g., ATSSA or state-approved training)
• Ability to stand and work outdoors for long periods in varying weather conditions
• Good communication and hand signaling skills
