Title: Certified HVAC Technician (Residential & Commercial)
Location: Chesterville ON
Pay: $26.00 - $33.00/hr (depending on experience)
Shifts: Fulltime with overtime pay, 8:00 AM Start

Job Description

We are looking for a Certified HVAC Technician with experience in both residential and commercial plumbing to join our team. The client specializes in warehousing, logistics, construction, and technology development within farming and HVAC. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of the principals of the company and designers. The primary function of this position is to ensure all products meet industry standards and to reduce non-conformance and manufacturing errors that may lead to returned products.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions
• Ensure compliance with Ontario safety codes and regulations
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Work with thermostats, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and duct systems
• Handle refrigerants and perform leak testing
• Knowledge of residential & commercial boiler systems (knowledge of oil burning boilers an asset)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with other team members in all aspects of our prefabricated building system

Requirements:

• Certificate of Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (Ontario)
• Gas Technician (G2 or G1) license (required for heating systems, oil certificate an asset)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential/commercial HVAC
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and controls
• Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and teamwork skills
