The Opportunity
Lounsbury Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Information & Communication Technology Manager to support our ICT team and our business units.
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to join our senior leadership team. This pivotal role will be responsible for the strategic direction, decision-making, and implementation of all ICT initiatives across our 13 locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning technology with business goals, driving innovation, and ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Managing IT Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective support for all technology-related needs.
- Office 365 Administration: Manage and maintain Office 365 applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for all users.
- Cybersecurity: Monitor cybersecurity software to protect company data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Microsoft Suite Security: Utilize Microsoft Suite for security measures, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and compliance.
- Hardware Management: Oversee the maintenance and support of printers, photocopiers, phones, and other office equipment.
- Network Security: Manage Fortinet firewalls and switches, ensuring secure and reliable network connectivity.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all IT-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure the best service and support for the company.
- Compliance and Training: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and provide training to staff on IT policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of direct work experience in an IT management capacity required.
- Advanced overall knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server architectures
- Proficiency with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies.
- Effective project management skills.
- Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

This position requires you to work on-site at our Lounsbury Chevrolet dealership at 2155 West Main Street. Travel within the province of New Brunswick is required.
