Renovation/Maintenance Technician

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting a Renovation/Maintenance Technician to join our client's rapidly growing team in Saint John, NB. Our client is an expert and meets the growing need for property management services for out-of-town investors purchasing multi-unit investment properties in New Brunswick. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, while growing with the company.

Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Rate of Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 / per hour

Responsibilities:

This position will include performing repairs, maintenance, and renovation tasks including but not limited to:

· Painting

· Crack filling.

· Changing locks

· Flooring

· Installing doors/windows

· Misc. other tasks as required.

· Minor plumbing

· Significant experience and capability with a variety of hand and power tools.

· A fundamental understanding of residential building and construction concepts.

· Ability to implement accident prevention strategies to avoid accidents and injuries.

Candidate Requirements:

· Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience.

· Willing to work occasionally outside the typical 9-5 workweek.

· Must have own tools.

· On-call required once per month.

· Candidates must have a reliable vehicle and a valid New Brunswick driver's license.

· This role requires the submission of a Criminal Record Search.

· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
