Mobile Licensed Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for Mobile Licensed Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our client's rapidly growing team in Saint John, NB. This is a roadside/ highway remote-service position. Our client is declared part of Canada's best managed companies for multiple years in a row. Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm

Rate of Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

· Highway diagnosis, inspections and maintenance, repairs, and replacement of parts, as needed, of trucks and trailers.

· Problem-solve and trouble-shoot to diagnose and determine a solution.

· Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devices such as motor analyzers, handheld computers, and chassis parts.

· Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine a solution.

Candidate Requirements:

· Minimum of 1-year hands on experience, Apprentices are welcome.

· Certified Mechanic License.

· Previous experience with diagnostic computers is desirable.

· Comfortable with handheld tolls.

· Driver's Abstract (Must be within 30 days).

· CSA safety boots/ shoes, in good condition.

· This role requires the submission of a Criminal Record Search.

· Excellent customer service skills and customer focused.

· Excellent communication skills.
