Who you are:

You are an experienced communications and marketing professional who loves to dive into the technical side of things. You understand how to track communications, brand, and marketing goals through the various digital platforms to create a successful campaign. You are familiar with the advanced settings on every app and platform you use because learning how to dial in technology to your exacting standards makes you a little giddy inside. You love working with cross-functional teams of UX experts, content specialists and social media pros to build experiences and content that get results. Most importantly, you really dig our mission to help build a trusted internet for Canadians.

What you will do:

  • Be the eyes and ears for all internal marketing specs, including back-end web monitoring and development tools like Wordpress, SEMrush, the Google suite (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Search Console), and HubSpot.
  • Act as our main liaison for email functionality and scheduling for events and communications via the membership management tools.
  • Dive deep into the technical aspects of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other digital tools as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire brand and communications team to solve problems, optimize campaigns and make our tools and platforms more efficient, functional and easy to understand.
  • Team up with point people on other teams across the organization to ensure their marketing communications reporting needs are being met.
  • Liaise with our website team to ensure our website stays up to date, user friendly and functional.
  • This position is a 12 month fixed-term (with benefits) for a maternity leave replacement.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications or marketing with a specific focus and understanding of digital platforms and tools such as SEO, analytics, email marketing and automation,
  • An understanding of how to use data and insights gained from key performance indicators to help your team and the organization optimize their activities
  • A curiosity that drives you to dig deep into the data and tools we use to find better ways of doing things and then teaching the rest of your team how to do it!
