About the role:

Working in partnership with our client, the Junior Copywriter will create impactful copy for taglines and headlines for all forms of printed collateral, email campaigns, social media, presentations, advertising, marketing and sales collateral.

Reporting to the Copy Lead, the Junior Copywriter will work with a team of two other Copywriters, part of a greater organization with 20+ members of designers, project managers, and producers.

What you will be doing:
  • Produce original copy for digital banners, paid + social media, retail, on-premise, out of home, b2b, marketing and all other sales collateral
  • Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the team
  • Work closely with the team to deliver all copy to ensure consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and various established brands
  • Follow and help build a tone of voice consistent to the brand client on all deliverables
  • Conduct research and develop an understanding of the client's target audience and competitor products
  • Generate engaging, customer focused content to add value to the customer's experience
  • Use briefs to create original on-brand copy across a variety of channels to a high standard, sometimes with tight deadlines
  • Work across 25+ wine and spirits brands via 10+ marketing channels
What you need to be great in this role:
  • 1-2 years of advertising copy experience preferred but not mandatory
  • A portfolio website with numerous advertising/creative writing samples/examples
  • Ability to write original, impactful and engaging copy for various digital and print campaigns
  • Ability to create immaculate copy that stands out from the crowd
  • An excellent team player: collaborative and adept at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to write on-brand B2C and B2B creative copy that delivers a consistent tone of voice
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage workloads and multiple projects effectively
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and collaborative, with a can-do attitude
