Summary

As a Videography Intern at Ulnooweg, you will collaborate closely with the communications team to craft compelling visual content that highlights Ulnooweg's programs and initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping Ulnooweg's media development from conception to execution. You will immerse yourself in every aspect of the video production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
Our scope of video projects is diverse, ranging from event and program promos, recaps, case studies, short documentary films, curriculum deliveries, instructional and education curriculum videos.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to brainstorm, develop, and refine concepts for video content across various platforms and channels.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting equipment, and audio gear during on-location and in-office shoots, ensuring optimal image and sound quality.
  • Assist in post-production tasks including video editing, color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance the final product.
  • Collaborate with the editing team to review rough cuts and provide feedback for revisions, ensuring the final videos meet quality standards and project objectives.
  • Manage video assets including organizing, cataloging, and archiving footage, ensuring easy access and retrieval for Ulnooweg staff and future projects.
  • Support other departments as needed, including assisting with photography, and social media content creation, to ensure cohesive visual storytelling across all channels.
  • Travel will be a regular part of this role. Federal travel reimbursements will be provided for food, transportation and accommodations costs.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for storytelling through visual media, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Familiarity with different cameras like digital cameras, professional-grade cameras
  • Proficiency in video filming and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
  • Experience filming for professional or personal projects.
  • Experience with Adobe creative cloud products.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Class 5 vehicle licence is considered an asset
