Data Analyst

Quality Department

The top priorities of this position will be to measure, monitor, analyze and report all areas of the Quality Organization at the multiple manufacturing sites – both internal and external. Significant involvement with all areas of product and manufacturing, while also increasing visibility, communication and collaboration with key departments is instrumental in this position.

Location: Surrey (Please note that this position will be 100% in office, no remote work)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop records management processes and policies
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes
  • Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
  • Produce and track key performance indicators
  • Develop and support reporting processes
  • Monitor and audit data quality
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyze survey data
  • Manipulate, analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to the business
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations and presentations
  • Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
  • Oversee and develop process improvements strategies and supporting documents
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to enhance productivity in areas of quality, cost, performance and maintenance
  • Ensure timely reporting of CARs for Quality rejects and the RMA process
  • Monitor and report on Vendor Management program and supporting metrics
  • Must abide by and help Lead Improvement to Health and Safety Rules and have demonstrated commitment to good housekeeping/organizational practices
  • Responsible for personal compliance to company and regulatory standards
  • Maintain and develop strong working relationships with other departments and outside vendors
  • Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the work environment, this includes active participation in company committees, project teams and relevant job training
  • Commit to self-development goals as discussed with your Director and attend company-sponsored training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director

Qualified candidates must possess

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Diploma in Business Administration with work experience
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency
  • Attention to detail, Organizational and Time Management skills
  • Thorough compliance knowledge
  • Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
