Corporate Services Coordinator (4-Month Term)

We're looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Services Coordinator to support our dynamic team! In this newly created role, you will provide generalist support to our Sales, Marketing, & Finance functions, our Operations team, and also oversee day-to-day Office Administration. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring business professional, ready to catapult their career to the next level and gain exposure to diverse business functions.

This position is available through the Canada Summer Job Grant. To be eligible to apply, you must:

  • be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
  • be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment, and
  • have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

The focus of the Corporate Services Coordinator role will be to:

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team in:
    • Crafting engaging social media posts, presentations, brochures, and other materials to promote our services and employer branding, using tools like Canva
    • Managing posting across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram)
    • Coordinating creation and distribution of Sales & Marketing materials (brochures, swag, etc.)
    • Organizing and executing promotional events or campaigns
    • Maintaining databases and update contact lists on our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
    • Website maintenance and improving content using WordPress
    • Contributing to other Sales & Marketing duties, as needed
  • Support the Finance team in:
    • Setting up and updating client information to internal operations systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Resourcing Spreadsheet, etc.)
    • Other Finance administrative duties, as required
  • Support the Operations Team and Day-to-Day Administration:
    • Overseeing day-to-day office operations, including ordering supplies, managing office equipment, and coordinating maintenance
    • Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations for the Leadership and Operations team
    • Schedule events and meetings, updating the Tenfold calendar, as needed
    • Other Administrative duties, as required

The Ideal Candidate

The person we are looking for is an energetic individual that possesses the following:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with strong priority and time management skills
  • Phenomenal attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to give and receive feedback
  • Proficient in computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or actively pursuing post-secondary education in Business, ideally in Administration or Marketing
  • Previous experience in administrative work would be considered an asset
  • Proficiency with website maintenance, such as WordPress, would be considered an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365

Work Hours

This is a temporary 4-month term that requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an expected start date of May 1, 2024, and an end date of August 31, 2024.
