Job Summary:

As a company, we've made it our mission to provide the highest levels of customer service, product value, and most importantly community engagement. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial drive that can get involved in the community, is comfortable working remotely creating their schedule, and is driven by the potential that comes with an uncapped commission structure. This position requires travel throughout rural Alberta; take on as much of the territory as you'd like! You will work remotely engaging with each of our communities building new and meaningful relationships and assisting us in build new world-class fiber infrastructure. Although remote you'll work closely with an incredibly engaged team, and we will teach you everything you'll need to know about our fiber network and how we're bridging the digital divide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Northern Lights Fiber powered by Canadian Fiber Optics
  • Travel your assigned territory (Example areas include Spirit River, Falher, High Prairie, Valleyview, Beaverlodge, Calmar, Millet, Saddle Hills County, and Sturgeon County)
  • Build value based internet solutions for customers with the Northern Lights Fiber suite of products
  • Initiate contact with customers through door-to-door, cold calling, and leveraging social media to generate leads
  • Create your flexible work schedule
  • Foster relationships with residents and businesses in the communities we serve
  • Provide personalized local-class customer service support
  • Hand out vital information and updates regarding construction, new products and services, and local initiatives we are backing

Qualifications:

  • Social media profile: Facebook required – LinkedIn, Meta platform knowledge an asset
  • Live within the travel region, and know your community
  • Bring your own device (phone reimbursement)
  • Reliable vehicle with the ability to travel and work remotely (mileage reimbursement and LOA)
  • Positive image within your community
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable walking – door to door
  • Time management and organizational skills

Schedule:

  • You make your own!
  • 4-8 hour shift
  • Days/Evenings
  • Weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Reliably commute between the communities in your territory (Example areas include Spirit River, Falher, High Prairie, Valleyview, Beaverlodge, Calmar, Millet, Sturgeon County, Saddle Hills County)
