We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join the Assurance team of a growing accounting firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring CPA to gain hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting while developing their professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with review and audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting working papers.
- Perform account reconciliations and substantive testing.
- Analyze financial information and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with senior team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support clients with accounting and financial reporting needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Aspiring CPA or currently enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in public accounting
